★★★★★
If you’re visiting Singapore, this Baba Nyonya restaurant at Clarke Quay is a must. They specialize in authentic Nyonya cuisine and Hainanese chicken rice. The bright, colorful interior is full of Peranakan charm and super photo-worthy.
The dishes are cooked by a genuine Baba chef and are both beautifully presented and full of authentic flavor. Highlights include Beef Rendang, Buah Keluak Duck, Nyonya Pie Tee, and traditional Nyonya kueh, all rich in layered spices.
Their kampung chicken rice is also a must-try — tender, juicy chicken with fragrant rice makes every bite satisfying.

★★★★★
Baba Nyonya Restaurant offers a vibrant and polished introduction to Straits Chinese cuisine. Led by Chef Dine, the restaurant leans into a contemporary dining style, blending Malaccan influences with a modern aesthetic that caters to a wider, mainstream audience.
The Culinary Profile: Approachable & Mild
Unlike the intense, pungent, and fiery profiles found in strictly authentic establishments like PeraMakan, the food here is designed to be highly accessible.
Toned-Down Spice: The menu captures the aromatic essence of Nyonya cooking without the heat. It is notably not spicy, making it an ideal choice for families with children.
